Abel Baldonado

Abel Baldonado, age 62, beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother passed away unexpectedly,  Tuesday, December 3, 2019.  He was a lifelong resident of Algodones, NM. Abel enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Baldonado; and his Godson, Joseph Baldonado.

Abel is survived by his loving children, Andrew Baldonado, Danette and Amadeo Morales, Monique Canales and husband Edgar; his grandchildren, Andrew "AJ" Baldonado, Trinnity Griego, and Manuel Abel Canales.  Also surviving is his mother, Genevieve Baldonado; his siblings, Raymond and Maryann Baldonado, Tomistia and Antonio Vaquera, Robert Baldonado, Peter and Crystal Baldonado; the mother of his children and friend, Yvonne Lopez; his best friend and comparde, Eloy Sr. and Sadie Ortega; his four legged companion, Honey and her baby; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Abel will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be Monday, December 9, 2019, 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at  Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Mission in Algodones, NM.   Casket Bearers will be Peter Baldonado, Jr., Matthew C deBaca, Trinnidad Lopez, III, Eloy Ortega, Aaron Archibeque, and Pancho Lopez.  Honorary Bearers will be Pedro Vaquera, Curtis, Lopez, Steven Ortega, Edward Sanchez, James Archibeque, and Jesse Perea, Jr.
