Adelina Griego

Adelina C. Griego, age 93, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 25, 2017, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cuba, NM and was a resident of Corrales, NM.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Federico Dominguez, and Anita Chavez; her husband, Blas Griego; brothers, Pat and Casimiro Dominguez; and sisters, Lise Lovato and Edith Gutierrez.
Adelina is survived by her loving children, Jimmy Griego (Diane), Toby Griego (Josie), Felix Griego (Eleanor), Linda Leal, Ruth Rice (Gene), Anita Hodgin (Larry), and Johnny Griego; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her loving siblings, Flossie Montoya, Cela Griego, Bessie Lucero, Mary Griego, Vita Bush, Eloy Dominguez; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Adelina will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales, NM; where a Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. then followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Corrales Catholic Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Gary Leal, Gabriel Griego, Lawrence Griego, Richard Griego, Nicholas Barela, and Andrew Saavedra. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Serjio Griego, Daniel Griego, Anthony Saavedra, Gary Leal Jr., Christopher Barela, and Nathan Barela.
