Adrian Luis Duran, age 58, beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, was called unexpectedly to his eternal resting place on March, 29, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Placitas, NM. Adrian was born on August 29, 1956, to Arsenio and Valentina (Valencia) Duran.
He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Louie; nephew, Marcos; and niece, Danielle Romero.
Adrian is survived by his children, Gloria and husband Ray Dazhan, Mario, Celina and husband Matthew Garcia, Rachel Duran; grandsons, Matthew, Nathaniel, Christian, Levi, Justin; granddaughter, Malina; mother, Valentina; brothers, Archie, Joseph, Steven and wife Vangie, Tony and wife Jeanne, Orlando and wife Grace; sisters, Georgia and husband Danny Trujillo, Debbie and husband Mario Dominguez, Tina and husband Leo Romero; sister-in-law, Mary Duran, and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was a member of Ironworkers Local 495 for 25 years. Adrian was very family oriented, who loved spending time with his brothers and taking care of his grandsons. He enjoyed hunting, camping, getting wood, and partying. Adrian will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
Visitation will be start at 6:30pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 with a recitation of the Rosary to follow at 7:30pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM. Procession will follow at San Antonio Catholic Cemetery in Placitas, NM.
Pallbearers will be Archie, Joseph, Steven, Tony, Lorenzo Duran, and Matthew Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mario Duran, Orlando Duran, Miguel Duran, Danny Trujillo, Leo Romero, Mario Dominguez, Pete Taraddei, Jr. and Levi Garcia.
