Antonio Medina Rivera

Antonio Medina, age 82, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024. He was born in Ojo Caliente, Zacatecas MX and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.  

Some of Antonio’s hobbies were spending time with his family, fishing, and working on cars.  Antonio will be fondly remembered for his gentle soul and his ability to make people laugh. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Medina; two daughters, Yolanda Medina and Sonya Vigil; son-in-law, Frank Vigil; daughter-in-law, Joyce Medina; and grandson, Michael Santillanes.

Antonio is survived by his children, Martha Santillanes and husband Rick, Jose Medina and wife Teresa Chavira, Manny Medina and girlfriend Marisol Galvez, and Vicente Medina and girlfriend Veronica Salazar; 18 grandchildren, Greg Doss and wife Terra, Ricky Santillanes, Jessica Montano and husband Fabian, Anthony  Medina, Andrew Medina, Yazmine and husband Keaton Romero; Estefany Teichroeb, Ross Vigil, Chantel Lujan and boyfriend Darryl Paquin, Yolanda Vigil, Christopher Medina, Adrian Medina, Matthew Medina, Olivia Medina, Samantha Hartley and boyfriend Carlos Martinez, Miranda Diaz and husband Ralph, Marcus Medina and girlfriend Selena CdeBaca, Ryan Medina, and 28 great-grandchildren.  

Antonio will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

Casket Bearers will be Pancho Medina, Jose Medina, Manuel Medina, Vicente Medina, Gregory Doss, Anthony Medina, Andrew Medina, Ross Vigil, Adrian Medina, and Matthew Medina, Marcus medina.
