Antonio (Tony) Sanchez

Antonio "Tony" Sanchez passed away peacefully on January 30, 2021 at the age of 82. He was born and raised in Martinez Town of Albuquerque and lived his adult life in Sandia Park, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents Juan and Eulalia Sanchez, brother-in-law Henry Sanchez and sister-in-law, Marie Elaine Sanchez. He is survived by his sister, Gloria Sanchez, brother, Waldo Sanchez, nephews Jeff Sanchez, and Henry Sanchez, and nieces Consuelo Rodriguez, Monica Zillman and Geraldine Esquibel. He worked many years for Albuquerque Public Schools as a Custodian.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Genesis Ladera Health Care facility for their compassionate care of Tony for 14 years. A Funeral Mass will be February 19, 2021 at 9:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, which will be streamed live on Facebook.
