Benjamin Tso

Benjamin Tso, age 75, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 2, 2018 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Star Lake, NM and was a resident of Ft. Defiance, AZ.   Benjamin graduated from Cuba High School in 1961.  Benjamin was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served our country during the Viet Nam War.  After his military service he went on to receive his Associates degree from Dine College in 1996 and worked for Ft. Defiance Indian Health Services for 33 years.  Benjamin served as a Military Honor Guard with the Ft. Defiance Veteran's Group and was a Roadman with the Native American Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Miles Tso and Eleanor Tsosie.  Benjamin is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ruth Tso; and his daughter, Vanessa Tso; grandchildren, Kyle, Bryan, Dylan, and Isabelle.  Also surviving are his loving siblings, Lenora, Nora, Daniel, Donald, Franklin, Diane and Ina; and other numerous loving relatives and friends.  Benjamin will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in The Relief Society Room at the Church of Latter-day Saints, 410 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505, where Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m.  Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.  Pallbearers will be Kyle Tsosie, Tony Hale, Lionel Clarke, Jarvis Mullahon, Timothy Tso, and Brendan Jones.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Dylan Jones, Bryan Jones, Daniel Tso, Franklin Tso, Donald Tso, and Richard Jones.
