Carla Martinez

Carla Marie Martinez, age 56, beloved sister, aunt, niece, and friend, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020.  She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM .  Carla loved to take and share pictures; she had a great sense of humor; and will be fondly remembered as a kind, caring, patient, and a wonderful friend to all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Rosalie Martinez; and brother, Anthony Martinez. Carla is survived by her loving sister, Pam Martinez; significant other, Jim Richter; nephew, Anthony Baros; niece, Antoinette Baros; great-nieces, Selena Chavez, Raquel Najar, Isabella Najar; numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins; and a host of friends.  Carla will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, Albuquerque, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery. Serving as Casket Bearers will be Anthony Baros, Robert Abeyta, Lawrence Jiron, Lorenzo Jiron, Jim Richter, and Matt Najar.  Honorary Bearers will be Raymond Abeyta and Arthur Meastas.
