Carlos Fernandez, age 88, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 25, 2024. He was born in Ocate, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque. Carlos loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them, especially with his precious grandchildren. He also enjoyed working around the house, camping, traveling and listening and dancing to Rancheras and Country music. Carlos was an Air Force Veteran. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Theresa Fernandez, his father Samuel Carlos Fernandez, his mother Annie Fernandez, brothers Efraim Fernandez, Victor Fernandez, Enos Fernandez and sister Zella Maestas.

Carlos is survived by his loving daughters, Anita Fernandez of Albuquerque, NM and Debbie Dayringer and husband Jim of Sacramento, CA.; his grandchildren Robert Dayringer of Ventura CA.; Emily Dayringer of Long Beach CA.; and Eric Dayringer of Sacramento, CA.

Also surviving are his brothers, Reynel Fernandez and wife Martha of Albuquerque, NM; Pete Fernandez and wife Patsy of Milan, NM; Herman Fernandez and wife Annamarie of Grants, NM; and sisters, Lydia Morales and husband Jess of Denver, CO; Ida Herrera and husband Bob of Nalcrest, FL; Alice Wurl of Fowler, CO; Veronica Casias and husband Tony of Ocate, NM; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Casket Bearers will be Robert Dayringer, Eric Dayringer, Emily Dayringer, Isabel Fernandez, Nathan Fernandez and David Fernandez.
