Carmen Martinez

Carmen Martinez, age 104, beloved mother and grandmother of three generations, passed away peacefully Monday, November 12, 2018. She was born in Ojitos Frios, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM.

Carmen is survived by her loving sons, Benny Martinez and wife Berna, Daniel Martinez and wife Eleanor, Raymond Martinez, and Victor Martinez; her grandchildren, Tony Martinez, Diane Martinez, Carmen Luttrell and husband Roland, Steven Martinez and wife Janet, Richard Martinez, Manuel Martinez, Gabriel Martinez and wife Cristina, Daniel R. Martinez, Lydia Sandoval and husband David, Michael Martinez, Julian Murrietta and wife Joshyln; great-grandchildren, Alicia Estrada, Andrew Estrada and wife Morgayne, TJ Luttrell and wife Jill, Bobby Good and wife Jess, Jason Truitt, Christina Truitt, Sebastian Martinez, David Sandoval, Marques Sandoval, Selina Vigil and husband Julian, Joaquin Murrietta, and Juliano Murrietta; great-great-grandchildren, Connor Truitt and Lyric Luttrell; nephews and nieces, Louie Chavez and wife Ruth, Ernestine Gutierrez and husband Servando, Consuelo Dinnsen and husband Fred, and Robert Chavez.  Carmen will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitations will be Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, Albuquerque, where a Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:00 a.m. also at the Church.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Casket Bearers will be Anthony, Danny, Rick, Steven, Michael, Manuel, Gabriel Martinez, and Julian Murrietta.  Honorary Bearers will be Sebastian Martinez, David Sandoval, Marcus Sandoval, and Andrew Estrada.
