Carolyn Brierly

Carolyn Guenther Brierly, age 70, beloved wife, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully,  Thursday, December 29, 2016.  She was born in Somers Point, NJ and was a resident of Albuquerque.  Carolyn  graduated from Moriarty High School in 1964; and received her Bachelors degree from Northeastern University of Massachusetts.  Carolyn enjoyed knitting and oil painting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis T. Guenther, Sr. and Florence Blakey Guenther; brother-in-law, Mac Riboni; and sister-in-law, Annabelle (Tuttle) Guenther.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, James Brierly; her siblings, Christine Guenther Riboni, Louis T. Guenther, Jr. and wife Georgia, Larry Guenther; nephew, L.T. Guenther; niece, Betty Lou Guenther VanDemark and husband Brian; and great-nieces, RaeAnna and Sage VanDemark.  Carolyn will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Relief Society Room at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, North Valley Ward, 1100 Montano Rd., NW, in Albuquerque, where Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Mountain Valley Cemetery, in Edgewood, NM.  Casket Bearers will be Louis Guenther, Jr., Larry Guenther, L.T. Guenther, Brian VanDemark, Jesse Rogers, and Ed Fuller.
