Carolyn Kovach

Carolyn M. Kovach, age 89, beloved mother and sister, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 8, 2018. She was born in Thurman, Ohio and was currently residing in Albuquerque, NM. Carolyn retired from Kroger Company after 15 years of service; she also served as a Deaconess with her Church in Aurora, OH; and was involved with the Recreation Commission for the city of Aurora. She enjoyed and was an expert in baking Wedding Cakes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Nelson and Audrey Richards; and her husband Milan J. Kovach. Carolyn is survived by her loving daughter, Carol Lynn Schaffer and husband Scott; and her sister, Wilma Lewis. Carolyn will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services ~ Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth Street NW. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Casket Bearers will be Carol Shaffer, Scott Shaffer, Maya Montoya, Lilia Pinera, Carla McIntyre, and Annette Elerby.
