Age 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Thursday, July 14, 2016. She was born in Bernalillo, NM on January 21, 1952, to Esabell and Victoria Contreras Baldonado.
Catherine enjoyed to cook her specialty was green chile stew. She loved the casino, dancing, and to sing her favorite songs. Catherine's greatest accomplishment was raising her ten wonderful grandchildren who she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Galvan; father, Esabell Baldonado; mother, Victoria Baldonado; children, Richard, Elizabeth, Louie, and JoAnn Galvan; brother, Lorenzo Baldonado.
Catherine is survived by her grandchildren, Frankie, Richard, Samantha, Louie, Joseph, Joshua, Issac, and Paul Galvan, Veronica and JoAnna Atencio; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Galvan and Carlos Anthony Jojola Jr.
Rosary to be recited on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 8:00 A.M at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 9502 Fourth St. NW.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:00 A.M.
Inurnment will take place at San Carlos Cemetery following service.
Catherine will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
