Danny Rey, Jr.

Danny Rey, Jr., age 43, beloved husband, father, son, and brother, was called to his heavenly home by the Lord, Monday, September 30, 2019. He was born in Midland, TX and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM. Danny graduated from West Mesa High School in 1994.  He enjoyed music, photography, cooking, and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. Danny will be fondly remembered as a kind, loving and generous man, who loved his wife, children and family so much.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Martin Cruz and Luciano Martin. Danny is survived by his loving wife Anahi Daniela Rey; his precious children, Mercedes Daniela, Araceli Daniela, and Nicolas "Nico" Daniel.  Also surviving are his parents, Danny Sr., and Cecilia Rey; his brother Michael and sister Celeste; paternal grandmother, Rosa Rey; maternal grandmother, Pauline Sanchez; and many other loving relatives and friends.  Danny will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lived he touched.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services ~ Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:00 a.m. at the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd., NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Serving as Casket Bearers will be Chris Cotinola, Rick Gonzales, Alfie Chavez, Maximo Rey, Sammy Sanchez, and Willie Fino.
