David Naranjo

David Naranjo, age 68, beloved son, father, and grandfather, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019.  He was born in Las Vegas, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM. David graduated from Valley High School in 1969.  David served his country in the United States Army; then went on to NM Highlands University where he received his bachelors degree. He was recognized in the 41st edition of Who's Who, Among Students in American Universities and Colleges (1974 -1975); he received a special Achievement Award in 1983 from the Department of Interior, MMS.  David worked and retired after 25 years of service from the First Financial Credit Union.

Some of David's hobbies and interests include reading his bible faithfully because he loved Jesus.  He enjoyed talking baseball and watching the Cincinnati Reds play. David also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and rooting for Kyle Busch.  David loved spending time with his mother, his children, and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Teodocio Naranjo; his son, Gabriel Naranjo; and sister, Mary Gibson.

David  is survived by his loving mother, Dominga Naranjo; his children, Michael Naranjo, Michelle Naranjo, and Monica Naranjo; three grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. David will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services ~ Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St., NW, Albuquerque, NM.
