Dominga Naranjo age 98, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022. She was born in Cleveland, NM, to Roman Ruiz and Manuelita Montano, and has been a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM. Dominga was a homemaker for most of her life, and was happy living a simple lifestyle.
Some of Dominga’s hobbies and interests included reading her Bible faithfully and spending a lot of time in daily prayer. She liked to crochet, play board games, work at jigsaw puzzles, paint, and write poems. She also liked to cook, and make homemade bread and tortillas. She was a very gentle, beautiful soul, that loved all of her family dearly, and enjoyed spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Teodocio Naranjo; her son, David Naranjo; her daughter, Mary Gibson; and grandson Gabriel Naranjo.
Dominga is survived by her sister, Juanita Maestas; her grandchildren, Mark Gibson, Michael Naranjo, Michelle Naranjo, Eric Gibson, Monica Naranjo, Melanie Gibson; great-grandchildren, Tyler D’Amore, Christopher Naranjo, Lilyan Linville, Levi Linville, Elias Naranjo; and many other relatives and friends. Dominga will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.
