Domingo Ortiz

Domingo  Ortiz, age 92, beloved and devoted father, grandfather, and brother, was embraced by the Lord and taken to Eternal Life, Thursday, June 4, 2015.   He was born in Villanueva, NM on July 16, 1922 and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1950.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Augustina Ortiz; son, Richard Ortiz Sr.; grandsons, Wilfred J. Lucero, Jr. and Gabriel De Herrera; and son-in-law, Wilfred J. Lucero Sr.  Domingo is survived by his loving children, Andrea Lucero, Lauterio Ortiz and wife Belinda, Robert Ortiz, Rosie Gonzales and husband Ben, Patricia Trujillo and husband Jerry, Ronald Ortiz and wife Jackie; daughter-in-law, Imelda Ortiz; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; five sisters; numerous other loving relatives and friends.  Domingo will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose hearts he touched.
Visitation will be Monday, June 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final Viewing will be Tuesday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary 9420 Fourth St., NW.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Church.  Interment will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery.  Casket Bearers will be Paul Lucero, Kenny Ortiz, Jeremy Trujillo, Martin Ortiz, Jerry Carbajal, Marcos Ortiz and Dominic Ortiz.
