Dorma Seago

Surrounded by family and friends, Dorma Leigh Seago, 78, was ushered into the arms of Jesus on June 30, 2023, at her home in Albuquerque, NM where she resided for the past 18 years. Born in Marshall, MO to Dorman and Mary Dean Sisk, Dorma was raised in Miami and lived in Stuart, FL for 25 years. She was known in the community as a top educator earning the Florida Master Teacher award as well as teacher of the year in 1992. After serving as a supervisor at the Florida Department of Education and finally as Editor for the New Mexico Bar Association, Dorma retired in 2013.  " Everything she touched she improved" said her boss at the time, a sentiment shared by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her only son, Rich and sister Liz Bass both of Albuquerque.
