Emiterio Montoya, Jr.

Emiterio "Emit" Montoya, Jr., age 95, was called to our Lord Thursday, February 15, 2018 in the early morning while sleeping peacefully at his home.  He was born on November 14, 1922.

Emiterio is survived by nieces, Rosella and Patricia; nephew, Eloy; great-nieces and nephews, David, Jessica, Erica, Laura, Fabrienne, Millicente, Greg, and Eric; and several great-great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Dorothy and a loyal friend to many.  He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd., NW, Albuquerque, 87114, where a Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. then followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.  Casket Bearers will be David Urrea, Edward Romero, Greg Montoya, Eric Montoya, Ethan Romero, Adrian Montoya, and James Montoya.
