Esther Archibeque

Esther Archibeque, age 68, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister,  passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 28, 2019 while surrounded by her loving family.   She was a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, NM, where she worked with the Public School System as a teacher and a High School Counselor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abelicio and Julia Moya; sisters, Isabel Gonzales and Nettie Griego.

Esther is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Johnny Archibeque; her daughters, Valerie Archibeque-Torres, Jessica (Stephen) Barreras; her precious grandchildren, Julie, Jillian and Ryan.  Also surviving are her siblings, Lena (Jerry) Archibeque, Gloria (Roger) Dominguez, Tony (Cecilia) Moya, Laura Moya (John Espinoza), Sandra (Henry) Lucero, Kathy (Donald) Rivera; and many loving nieces and nephews. Esther will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, April  10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.
