Esther Julia Zamora, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, age 76, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. She was an active member in the Catholic faith by devoting her time as a Marriage Enrichment Counselor, Youth Minister, Eucharistic Minister, Guadalupana, and Cursillo. She graduated Albuquerque High School in 1963, was voted Citizen of the North Valley alongside her husband in 2008 and retired as an Educational Assistant from Albuquerque Public Schools in 2019. Esther is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Rachel CeDeBaca, her loving husband Philip A. Zamora Sr. and nephews Benjamin and Christopher Sandoval. She is survived by her sister Martha Sandoval. Her children Charlotte and husband H. Glenn Perez, Michelle and husband Frank Lopez, Victoria and husband Leonard Perez, Carla and husband Sammy Torres, and her son Philip A. Zamora Jr. Esther is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. In addition to being a devout catholic, she enjoyed talking and making friends with new people and loved being around family. She touched many lives with her compassion, warmth, and friendliness. Esther is loved and will be missed by her family and anyone that knew her. Pallbearers: H. Glenn Perez, Sammy Torres, Frank Lopez, Matthew Montano, Isaiah Torres, and Francisco Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers: Nathan Montano, Jimmy Leyba Jr., Leonard Perez Jr. Due to Covid-19 restrictions services are open to immediate family only.
