Felix Gutierrez

Felix "Dusty" F. Gutierrez, age 61, beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, was embraced by the Lord Tuesday, December 12, 2017 and taken to his heavenly home. Dusty was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, where he graduated from Valley High School in 1975; and was the owner and operator of his construction business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed going to the Casino and playing craps. He was preceded in death by his mother, Oralia Gallegos and step-father, Manuel Gallegos; his father, Epifanio Ray Gutierrez, Sr.; son, Gerald Gutierrez; brother, Ray Gutierrez, Jr.; and sister, Sara Gutierrez. Felix is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mary Lou Gutierrez; his son Joseph Gutierrez and wife Caitlin; his precious grandchildren, Cal-Leigh, Noah and Haleigh; and many relatives and friends. Dusty will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, where Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Kerry Rose Officiating. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE. Casket Bearers will be Hank Sanchez, Steve Garcia, P.J.
