Fidelia Cordova

Fidelia Maria Gonzales Cordova a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on May 27, 2020. She was born on June 10, 1943 in Las Vegas, NM to Telesfor Gonzales and Juanita.

Fidelia (Fiddie) was a loving mother giving up her own selfish ambition to instead dedicate her time to her husband and four children. Being there for them no matter the cost or inconvenience. Fiddie had a loving heart and great sense of humor; she loved to dance, travel all over with her sons on vacations, and she could also whistle very well. She is loved and missed by all who really knew her well.  Fiddie came to know Jesus Christ and fell in love with the Word of God. Then faced the biggest battle against dementia. She was cared and loved by her husband till the end.

She is survived by her husband George Cordova of the family home in Albuquerque; her children, Gregory Cordova, Raul Cordova,  Sheila Cordova, and Christopher Cordova;  her grandsons, Christopher B. Cordova, Victor, Xavier of Albuquerque and Adam Cordova of Riverside, CA; granddaughters, Desirae Sanchez, ReAnna Sanchez, Veronica all of Albuquerque, and Vanessa Cordova of Riverside, CA; and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Rita, Della and Sadie Gonzales all of Las Vegas, NM; and many other relatives and friends.  Fiddie will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.
