Flora Leyba

Flora B. Leyba, age 89, beloved and devoted mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, June 7, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family.   She was born on July 14, 1928, and was a lifelong resident of Pena Blanca, NM; where Flora was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chon and Ramona Baca; her husband, Roy Leyba; and son, Michael Leyba.  Flora is survived by loving children, Robert Leyba, Carla Lucero, and Ramona Leyba; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.  Flora will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

A Rosary will be recited Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pena Blanca, NM, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.  Inurnment will follow at the Pena Blanca Cemetery.
