George Casaus

George Casaus, age 98, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, joined his parents and eight brothers and sisters in heaven on July 4, 2016.

George was born on December 7, 1917 and was raised in (Los Pinos) Cuba, NM.  He was a cattle rancher his entire life and known for his cowboy life style.  He will be fondly remembered by his signature, Black Hat and Scarf.  George was devoted to his family and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.  A huge loss for us here but a tremendous gain for heaven.

George is survived by his loving wife of 77 years, Onecima "Emma"; his children, Pete and Florence; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandkids, and two great-great-grandkids.

Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, where a Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Sandia Memory Gardens, Albuquerque.
