Gregorita Trujillo

It is with sad hearts that we announce that Gregorita Trujillo, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was born in Cuba, NM on August 27, 1926, and was a lifelong resident of Bernlaillo, NM.  Gregorita will be fondly remembered as a loving, caring and tender spirit. She loved music and was one mean dancing machine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria and Emilia Lovato; her husband Jose Vidal Trujillo; brother, Frank Lovato; sister, Bertha Montoya; son-in-law, Felix Archibeque; and grandson, Robert Trujillo.

Gregorita is survived by her sisters, Toni and Emily; brother, Maurice; her nine children, Sylvia Archibeque, Benny Trujillo, Theresa Perez, Vidal Trujillo (Glenda), Cornelio Trujillo (Marci), Anthony Lovato (Emma), Ken Trujillo (Christine), Merlinda Espericueta (Jaime), Freddy Trujillo (Connie); 26 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and other numerous relatives and friends.  Gregorita will be greatly missed by her family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitations will be Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m., then followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will take place at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Bernalillo.  Serving as Casket Bearers will be  Edward Archibeque, Carlos Trujillo, Aaron Trujillo, Brian Trujillo, Phillip Trujillo, Larry Barber, and Brianna Espericueta.  Honorary Bearers will be Michael Trujillo, Dominic Archibeque, Brandon Barber, Benny Trujillo, Jr., Gabriel Trujillo, Joseph Lovato, and Jessica Wyatt.
