Henry Sandoval, age 84

Passed away on May 17^th, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM. Henry was born September 5^th, 1938, in Cuba, NM to his parents Ramon A. Sandoval and Josefita Aragon.

Henry graduated from Cuba High School in 1957.

Henry went on to marry the love of his life Betty and have been married for 63 years. Within this time, they had two children Rhonda and Rodney along with four grandchildren Matthew Sandoval, Kristin Sandoval, Xena Mapel, and Sierra Mapel.

Henry worked and retired from the New Mexico State Highway Dept.

Henry was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba and was also Guadalupano, along with being a member of the Knights of Columbus . He also served on several boards: Immaculate Conception School, Indigent Funds, and the Cuba Credit Union. He was a tuition donor for Immaculate Conception School and a Mayordomo for three years.

Henry enjoyed several hobbies. He loved Ranching, horseback riding, horseraces, the casino, dancing, and most of all socializing with friends.

Henry is survived by his wife Betty, his children Rhonda Sandoval, Rodney & Vesta Sandoval, his grandchildren Matthew Sandoval, Kristin Sandoval, Xena Mapel, Sierra Mapel, and sister Leora & Bob Davis.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents Ramon A. Sandoval, Josefita Aragon, and his siblings Raymond Jr. Sandoval, and Cora Sorrow.
