Ignacia Saiz

Ignacia D. Saiz, age 65, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, July 26, 2015.  She was born in Ponderosa, NM and was a resident of Jemez Pueblo, NM.  Ignacia was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Alameda, where she loved to sing with the choir; she was volunteer at the Corrales Senior Center; and enjoyed camping, horse back riding, dancing, going to the casino, and above all spending time with her family whom she loved so much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leandro J. Saiz, Sr., of 39 years.  Ignacia is survived by her loving children, Patty Jaramillo, Angella Maya, Rosanne Parrett, Leandro J. Saiz, Jr., and Santiago Chavez; her precious grandchildren, Daniel Sloan, Mark Jaramillo (Rosanna Garcia), Amanda Lucero and husband Joseph, Frankie Maya, Michael Jaramillo (Brittany Johnson), Matthew and Dominick Archuleta, Andrew Maya (Tish Cordova), Jazmine Anderson and husband Lance, Donae Parrett, Leandra Saiz, Gabrielle, Estevan, and Gracie Chavez; her great-grandchildren, Selena and Maria Jaramillo, Landen and Charly Anderson, Christopher Rivera, Melody and Domique Archuleta, Grayson Sloan, and Alyxia Cordova.  Also surviving are one brother and ten sisters.  Ignacia will be greatly missed by all.
A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, Albuquerque.  Service of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. also at Church.
