Jocelyn Joy Harvey

April 14, 1951 — May 23, 2024

Jocelyn Joy Harvey was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and raised by her Mother Annalee Harvey in Albuquerque’s North Valley and was a graduate of Valley High School, Class of 1969.  On Thursday, May 23, 2024, Jocelyn was called home to join our Eternal Father in Heaven. Jocelyn was a beloved Gramma, MeMaw, Mother, Mother-in-Law, Sister, Auntie, friend, confidant and partner-in-crime to so many. Those who know her, know her for the spark and fire she brought to everything she did in life. You would also know that she wouldn’t want any of us to hang our heads and mourn her passing, but rather celebrate the life that she lived and gusto with which she lived it. As time often slows our bodies, her mind never slowed. She was as witty as ever. In my lifetime, I knew her in many forms beyond mother. Administrative assistant, bartender, bouncer (you read that correctly), waitress, volunteer, wedding planner, coordinator of all things big and small. She was a jack of all trades accomplished at doing so many things. She will be missed, and the indelible mark she has left will never be forgotten. Jocelyn is Survived by her son Christopher Donnelly, Daughter-in-Law Jenavieve Donnelly, grandson Austin Donnelly, granddaughter Mia Donnelly, grandson Lucas Donnelly, sister Jerri Miller & Jan Dillingham , brother Jeff & Jane Harvey, sister Jennifer & John Maguire, brother Jerrell & Dinah Harvey, brother Joel & Joanna Harvey, and sister Janna & Matt Maio.
