Joe S Gonzales, 88 passed away peacefully at home on July, 26 2024

 Joe was born on August 16, 1935 to his loving parents Jose and Lucina Gonzales in Mineral Hill, New Mexico.

Joe graduated from Robertson High School in Las Vegas, NM 1953. Joe served his country after high school in the United States Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959, where he spent over a year of service in Okinawa, Japan. After, Joe met the love of his life Stella and were married for a beautiful 62 years. Within those years they had 2 children Bill Gonzales and Ken Gonzales; Joe had a granddaughter, Ashley Hannan, who he raised like a daughter.

 Joe worked as a Master Barber for over 50 years owning his own shop, Perfect Image Barber Shop in Albuquerque's North Valley. Where he cut generations of hair, retiring just before his 80th birthday. He often loved fishing, hunting and working outside. He would always have a saying for every occasion, he never met a stranger. Joe's greatest achievements in his life was caring for his family and country. Joe cared deeply as a family man working hard to provide and building a wonderful home where he raised his children and lived with his wife for over 50 years. Joe touched the hearts of many people and will be truly missed.

 Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife Stella Gonzales, parents Jose and Lucina Gonzales, siblings Benito Gonzales, Manual Gonzales.

Joe is survived by his son's Bill Gonzales and Ken Gonzales. Sibling Cloefes Gonzales, grandchildren Ashley Hannan and husband Preston Hannan, Kassidy Gonzales, Kaden Gonzales, Mason Hannan, and Vyctoria Hannan.
