John Conrad William Stuhlmann Sr. passed away at his residence with loving family by his side on Sunday, October 17, 2021. He was born on May 17, 1934, in Greensburg, PA to John Conrad William Stuhlmann and Mary Ellen (Slack) Stuhlmann.
He graduated from Greensburg High School in 1952. While in high school, he became an Eagle Scout and played the trumpet in the band. He graduated from Thiel College in Greenville, PA. with a B.S. in Economics in 1957. After graduation, he voluntarily joined the U.S. Army and spent three years at Fort Douglas in Utah. On 3/15/1958, he married Adele Nemeth in Salt Lake City, Utah. He worked for the U.S. government in civil service for 30 years and retired from the Department of Energy. John and Adele enjoyed traveling and visited about 65 countries. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially teams from the Pittsburgh, PA area.
John was a devoted father and husband. He is survived by his wife Adele, daughter Jaycee (Gary) McCreary, daughter-in-law Debbie Stuhlmann, son Jeffrey (Theresa) Stuhlmann, and three grandchildren John Stuhlmann (Nevada), Ashley Stuhlmann (California) and Amber Stuhlmann (Florida). He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Constance Stuhlmann, his brother Frederick Stuhlmann and his son John Conrad William Stuhlmann Jr.

Graveside services will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Wednesday, 11/17/21 at 2:15 pm.
