 On October 5, 2024, our beloved Jordan Allan Herman Sandoval (Blue Bird, Do’lii Tsidii) passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born on June 6, 2000. Age 24 Years old. Jordan was Dine’ (Navajo), Tse’ nehi Kini, born for Naakai Dine’ e’. Jordan grew up in Tohajiilee, Albuquerque, and spent majority of military service in Shreveport, Louisiana. 2018 graduate from Native Academy of Albuquerque. 

 

Jordan joined the United States Air Force at age 18 and turned 19 while doing Basic Training in San Antonio, Texas and was discharged February 27,2024. During his military services of nearly five years his rank, Airman First Class was in aircraft maintenance squad, Refuel/ Bomber Aircraft maintenance Journeyman, 4 years, & 7 months. Decorations, medals, Badges, Citation and Campaign Ribbons Awarded: Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Air& Space outstanding Unit Award, AF Good Conduct Medal, Global war on Terrorism Service Medal, Nuclear Deterrence operative Service Medal, Air & Space Longevity Service Award & space Training Ribbon. 

 

Jordan enjoyed playing guitar, playing and interpreting Spanish lyrics. He was an accomplished writer. He enjoyed Louisiana cuisine - gumbo and crawfish being his favorite food. A master maker of New Mexico red chile enchiladas. He enjoyed fishing with his buddies in the Louisiana lakes, bought his first car, a Mazda 3 for its sound system to enjoy his music. A fan of the New York Yankees and Patriots. 

 

Jordan is survived by his mother Thelinda Sandoval, Father Jerald D. Sandoval, Paternal Grandmother LaVerne Moreno, Grandfather Leonard Moreno, sister Desirea Sandoval, Brother Melachi Sandoval, Aunts Amanda Gomez & Melissa Nelson.

 

Maternal Grandmothers, Nora Brody, Jeannie Guerro, Sarah Platero, Marian Nez, Gloria Fenton, Paternal Grandmothers, Majorie Sandoval, and Mary Lou Sandoval, Maternal Grandmothers from Lukachukai, Arizona, Frances Harvey, Victoria Sarracino, Hariette Chee. Paternal Grandfathers, Juan Guerro, Junior Brody, and Leonard Nez. Aunts Shanna Chischillie, Allie Brody, Lisa Johnson. Uncles, Derick Tabaha, Silas Platero, Cousins Zephaniah Brody, Dominic Fenton, Jaden Chischille, Tristen Tabana, Kayleen Tabana, Hailee Tabana, Jewels Guerro, Gabriel Gomez, Evavonda Brody, Helenda Brody, and Bernana Brody.

 

Jordan is preceded in death by his son Thomas Jordan (Blue Star Little Eagle) Sandoval, maternal grandmother Flora Guerro, Great Grandfather Thomas Guerro, Uncle Greggory K. Sandoval, Paternal Great Grandmothers Felicita Sandoval, Ida miller of Lukachukai, Arizona, Paternal Great Grandfather Joe Sandoval, Grandfather Herman Sandoval, Lawrence Sandoval, paternal Grandmothers Rosie Werito and Gloria Sandoval, Cousins Brando Guerro, Betty Lynn, Paula Brody, and Jayvair Brody.
