Joseph Anthony (Anto) Reese went to his heavenly home on Thursday January 18th, 2024, at the age of 60. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on June 3, 1963, to the late Jose Antonio (Tony) Reese and Frances Mejia. He is survived by a family and several close friends that love him. His faith and relationship with God were an essential part of his life. Anto was a man who loved the Lord, his church, the Chicago Bears, and most of all his family, especially his son Sean, daughter in law Sara, grandchildren Eliza, George, and Harold. They truly were his whole world.
Anthony's greater gift in life came when he was struggling himself, he was able to recognize and pray for anyone in need. He had many great qualities. He was funny, loved telling stories, and cooking. When he went camping or fishing, he did not settle for boring sandwiches he made sure everyone ate good and enjoyed themselves. He was a great communicator and always willing to help others. He truly listened to people’s needs and gave awesome advice. From a young age his diverse love for music was a gift to his family and passed on to two generation. He was very generous and thoughtful, he loved to help people especially the elderly and less fortunate. He was a very talented and skilled “Fixer” trades man, able to diagnose and fix any mechanical HVAC or appliance issues. It didn’t matter how he got paid it could be in chickens, meatballs or chicharrónes. He would do his best to help.
The world lost a wonderful man who will be greatly missed, but heaven has gained the most amazing angel.
