Joyce Ann Valdo

Joyce Ann Valdo, Loving Mother, Grandmother,Great Grandmother, Sister Auntie/Uncle went peacefully to be with our lord on Sunday, August 11, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Joyce was born in Albuquerque, NM May 14, 1956 age 68. 

Joyce was Preceded in Death by her loving parents Jerry & Claire Romero, brothers Robert and Michael Romero and Sister Sandra McNaughton.

 Joyce was Survived by her Children Wayne Morgan, Jennifer Romero (husband Richard jr), Jody Valdo (Husband Joe), Grandchildren Savanah, Alyssa, Richard III Romero, Miranda Morgan, Brandon Morgan, Great Grandchildren Judah & Julia,.Godson Domenic Dodson, Significant other Frank Craig. 

Brother: Ronald Romero (wife Theresa) Sisters: Jereldene Samora, Norma Romero, Linda Saiz, Jeanette Pearcy (husband Ron), Beverly Dodson (husband William).

 Joyce was truly "one of a kind" she showed us true love and kindness, Joyce spared nothing when it came to her children, grandchildren and family. Joyce was never one to put up a fuss, she was the most giving, caring person, she loved to make everyone around her happy, she had a kind heart and spared no expense when it came to her family. Joyce was a hard worker, she spent many years working for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and The US Army Corps of Engineers. 

Joyce was a "Social Butterfly" and loved to put on her Cowgirl Boots and Cowgirl Hat and go Two Step the night away, she was the life of the party. Joyce was a strong fighter, she never gave up and longed to be with the love of her life "Frank". 

Joyce will forever be remembered and loved as she is our Beautiful Hummingbird spreading her wings and flying. 

Reception to follow immediately at the church hall, located to the South side of the church.

 Flowers donation will be accepted on Monday 8/19 from 2PM-4PM at Nativity Church

 Food donations can be taken on the day of service to the church hall.
