Juan Garcia

Juan S. Garcia, age 85, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully, Friday, August 2, 2019, while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Guadalupe, NM, and was resident of Albuquerque, NM. Juan was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Alameda.  Juan worked for various employers, but his fruit of his labors was on his ranch in Guadalupe, NM.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Taida Garcia; son, Gabe Garcia; and brothers, Teodoro and Galo Garcia

Juan is survived by his loving wife of  62 years, Toni Garcia; his sons, Pete, Mark, Anthony Garcia (Theresa); his precious grandchildren; Juan, Jesus, Jose Nicole, Adrian, Anthony Jr., and Isaac; great-grandchildren, Joey, Briana, Vicente, Diego, Evalina, Arianna and Santana.  Also surviving are his sisters, Julia Garcia Gurule, Rose Garcia Serna, and Sara Garcia Sedillo and husband, Johnny; brother, Roberto Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.  Juan will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

A Rosary will be recited Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th Street NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery located on Edith between El Pueblo and Ranchitos Road.  Casket Bearers will be Anthony Garcia Jr., Isaac Garcia, Jesus Garcia, Jose Garcia, Sonny Garcia, and Henry Joe Sanchez.  Honorary Bearers will be Nicole Garcia, Rose Garcia Serna, Sara Garcia Sedillo, Rosa Garcia, and Anastasia Sedillo.
