Ledora I. Fajardo, age 91, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was embraced by the Lord Thursday, October 12, 2017 and taken to Eternal Life. She was born in Dawson, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM. Ledora's hobbies were embroidery, sewing, make quilts, and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Flora Wallace; her husband Philip L. Fajardo; son, Philip L. Fajardo; sisters, Vera Valdez, Alice Padilla, Lucille Padilla; brother, Frank Wallace; and daughter-in-law, Sylvia Frajardo
Ledora is survived by her loving children, Gerald E. Fajardo and wife Patricia, Yvonne M. Bernal and husband Ed, Philip L. Fajardo, II and wife Izzy, Anna M. Ward and husband David; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Also surviving are her siblings, Estella Mares and Alex Trujillo; and other numerous relatives and friends. Ledora will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.
A Rosary will be recited Friday, October 20, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave NE, Albuquerque, where the Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 12:45 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
