Lena Whitmore

Lena Maxine Whitmore, age 87, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, May 29, 2015.   She was born in Barnsdall, OK on July 24, 1927 and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM.  Lena was wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends.  She will be fondly remembered by her loving manor, kindness, and her beautiful eyes and smile.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur Justus and Ivan Whitmore; son, David Justus; sister, Bobbi Jo Massey; and brother, Earl Long.  Lena is survived by loving children, Steve Justus and wife Diane, Rod Justus and wife Bonnie, Tori Justus and husband Rick; three step-daughters; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Gary, Tommy, Johnny, and Harold Long; and many other loving relatives and friends.  Lena will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched.
Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St., NW, where an Evening Service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor Joseph Carrillo officiating.   Interment will take place in Pawhuska. OK.
