Leonor Castillo

Leonor M. Castillo, age 93, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully Monday, January 23, 2017, while surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Cuba, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Jesusita Segura; son, Lalo Trujillo; a daughter, Bernice Castillo; four brothers; and two sisters.

Leonor is survived by husband, Fermin Castillo, Jr.; her children, Annie (Nick) Lucero, Rose (Joe) Trujillo, Eusebio (Polly) Trujillo, Alice (Ben) C De Baca, Margaret (Tom) Lucero, JoAnne (Freddie) Jaramillo, and Albert Trujillo; 27 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her sisters, Petrita Segura, Andrea Macek, and Jenny Guray; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Leonor will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at  Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church , 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, where a Rosary will be recited at 11:15 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m.  Interment to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Lawrence Castillo, Anthony Lucero, Martin Archibeque, Damian Castillo, Ron Trujillo, and Frankie Trujillo.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Carlos Barraza, Randy Trujillo, Chris Medina, and Freddie Jaramillo, Jr.
