Luberto Ortiz

Luberto B. Ortiz  "Sapo", age 85, beloved husband, father and grandfather was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

He was born on August 6, 1936 in Seboyeta, NM.  He was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, and was employed by Sandia National Laboratory for 43 years.

He is survived by his beautiful wife of 63 years, Maria Seferina Ortiz and his four children Berta Ortiz, Robert Ortiz, Linda Sanchez, and Tanya Sanchez.

He was blessed with seven wonderful grandchildren and 9 beautiful great- grandchildren.

Dad was a hard worker who loved his garden, doing projects around the house, spending time with family, and most of all, he dearly loved watching his grandchildren succeed in life.

A visitation will be held at Daniels Family Funerals on November 30, 2021 beginning at 9:00am at 3113 Carlisle Blvd NW in ABQ, NM. Services will begin at 10:00am followed by a reception. Interment will follow the reception at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
