Lucy CdeBaca

Lucianita "Lucy" CdeBaca, age 90, a resident of Algodones, NM, passed away peacefully at her home,  Monday, May 18, 2015, after a very short illness.  She was born in Golden, NM on March 1, 1925 to the late Luciano and Dolores "Lola" Baldonado.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony CdeBaca Sr; her sister, Ella Garcia; brothers, Mauricio, Ramon, and Pat Baldonado; and a very special friend, Guadalupe Lopez;  Lucy is survived by her only son "the love of her life" Tony CdeBaca, Jr. and wife Lina of Algodones, NM; her grandchildren, Carol Annette Sandoval and husband Victor of Algodones, Matthew CdeBaca and wife Bernadette of Albuquerque; her great-grandchildren, Christopher Chavez Sr, Montana and Toby CdeBaca; her great-great-grandchildren, Cruzito and Christopher Jr. "CJ" Chavez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.  Lucy will be greatly missed by all.
On behalf of the CdeBaca family, special thanks are extended to Carol and Victor for taking care of Lucy for the last seven years; and to Orlando Lucero, Abel Baldonado, and Yvonne Baca for their visits.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St. NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.   Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo,NM.  Interment will follow at the Algodones Community Cemetery.  Casket Bearers will be Abel Baldonado, Christopher Chavez, Victor Sandoval, Orlando Lucero, Montana CdeBaca, and Toby CdeBaca.  Honorary Bearers will be Cruzito Chavez and CJ Chavez.
