Manuel Muñoz

Manuel  Muñoz, age 87, beloved father and grandfather, was embraced by the Lord and taken to Eternal Life, Saturday, May 16, 2015, while surrounded by his loving family.  He was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM.  Manuel was a carpenter by trade and very proud of his profession.  He loved telling stories about the work he had done and the places his work had taken him.  Manuel also had a passion for working on cars and had a backyard full of them.  In his later years, his daily routine consisted of stopping by McDonald's for a cup of coffee and conversations with his friends, as well as visits to his friends who work at Auto Zone, Peerless Tires, and various auto dealerships around the city.
He was preceded in death by wife, Jennie T. Muñoz.  Manuel is survived by his loving children, Margie Bier and husband David, Yolanda, Jamie and Nick Muñoz; his grandchildren that he raised as his own, Regina Dominguez and husband Edward, Crystal Muñoz, and Fermin Gonzales; and many more loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.  Manuel will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose hearts he touched.
Visitations will be this evening (Wednesday) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St., NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final Viewing will be on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels - Alameda Mortuary. Service of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
