Duran, Margie B.
Margie Beatrice (Garcia) Duran, age 76, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, was embraced by the Lord and taken to Eternal Life Thursday, March 31, 2016.  She was born in Cebolla, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM.  Margie was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church; and a member of the SNMN 2MDMP #2 Society of New Mexico.  She retired from the Albuquerque Public System.
Margie is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Orlando Duran; her children, Deborah Solis and husband Ricardo, Martin Gallegos and wife Audrey, Cindy Gutierrez and husband Alfred, Helen Tafoya and husband John, George Lucero, Sandra Lucero, Dominique Velasquez and husband Jerry, Danielle Rogers and husband Travis; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; seven brothers; and seven sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.   Margie will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, Albuquerque, NM, where A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final Viewing will be Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St., NW, Albuquerque.   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:00 a.m. also at the Church.  A private Inurnment will take place at a later date.
