In Remembrance
Maria de la Luz Hernandez, born December 19, 1921, passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 103. Maria de la Luz was a loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was very strong and independent and loved raising and taking care of her family. She came to the U.S with her husband Manuel Hernandez to provide a better life for their family. With no family of their own in the states she, along with her husband was determined to ensure her children would become successful in their adult life. She taught them to be strong and independent just like her. To that we owe her a great deal of gratitude and admiration.
As we bid farewell to Maria de la Luz Hernandez, we hold onto the precious memories and the profound lessons Maria de la Luz imparted. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who were touched by her grace. In this time of sorrow, we find solace in celebrating the remarkable life of Maria de la Luz, knowing that she is now at peace.
