Maria Qualls

Maria Antonia "Toni" Qualls, age 86, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister,  passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 16, 2020, while surrounded by her loving family.  Toni was born in Pecos, NM, formerly a resident of Santa Fe and was currently a resident of Albuquerque.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Sixta Valencia; children, Debra Griego and Lisa Howell; siblings, Clemente Valencia, Otelia Brunelle, Nicolasa Kenney, Tony Gutierrez and Gilbert Gutierrez .

Toni is survived by her loving children, William Qualls, Audrey Jones, Nonie Qualls; her grandchildren, Leo Qualls and Sarah Young, Jimmie Jones and wife Sophia, Vanessa Anderson and husband Bryan, Tyana Howell, Marion Qualls, Zachary Berkheimer, Mitchell Howell, Viktoria  Kurtz and husband Justin and Mariah Muce and husband Jacob; and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Dolores Armijo, Polly Armijo, Monica Valencia, Seferino Valencia and wife Josephine, Louis Valencia and wife Theresa, Gene Valencia and wife Anna; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  Toni will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

A Rosary and the Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 9:00 am at St Anne Parish, 511 Alicia St., Santa Fe, NM 87501.  Private Inurnment will take place.  Masks are required.
