Marsha Brown-Sterba

Marsha Brown-Sterba, passed away on December 1, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend whose impact on the lives of those around her will forever be cherished.

Born on December 22, 1981, in Shiprock, New Mexico, Marsha brought joy and light into the world from the very beginning. She grew up in a loving household and had a passion for art from a young age. Marsha's creative spirit flourished as she found solace and expression in drawing and even ventured into the world of tattoo artistry.

After completing her education at Bloomfield Highschool and Apolo College, Marsha embarked on an extraordinary journey through life. She embraced her role as a mother with unwavering love and dedication. Her proudest accomplishments were her children – Malachi Sterba and Jazmine Sterbas. Marsha's nurturing nature shaped their lives in immeasurable ways, instilling in them values of compassion, resilience and creativity.

Marsha's kind heart extended beyond her immediate family. She maintained strong bonds with her husband Robert Sterba and continued to be an anchor of support and love for him throughout their life together. Her presence will always be missed by those fortunate enough to have shared their lives with her.

In addition to her immediate family members, Marsha leaves behind her mother Lucy Mason and father Marshall Brown, both of whom were constant sources of inspiration for her throughout her remarkable journey. Marsha valued family connections dearly and remained connected with her extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins who will cherish the memories they shared.

Friends who knew Marsha will remember her infectious laughter and genuine warmth that filled every room she entered. Her compassionate nature touched many lives beyond her family circle as she radiated kindness wherever she went.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Marsha's life on December 22, 2023, at Alameda Mortuary in NW Albuquerque. The service will begin at 11:00 AM and will be followed by a gathering to honor her memory.

Marsha Brown-Sterba's legacy transcends the boundaries of time and space. Her impact on her loved ones is immeasurable, and her memory will forever be etched in their hearts.
