Mary Duran

Mary Duran, age 71, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister was called to her Eternal Resting place on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.   Mary was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.

She was preceded in death by her father, Pablo Lucero, mother, Felipita Lucero, son, Lonnie Chavez, sister, Viola Lucero, brother, Alex Lucero.

Mary is survived by loving children, Raymond "Dino" Chavez, Phillip "Errol" Chavez and wife Pam, Ronnie Chavez and wife Debbie, Elizabeth Duran; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her sisters, Bessie and husband Celso Jaramillo, Dolores Gutierrez, Ruth Martinez, Lucy and Rudy Trejo, Gina and husband Desi Aragon, Emily and husband Leroy Velarde; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.  Mary will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. and followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  Inurnment will take place at a later date.  Pallbearers will be Raymond Chavez Jr., Santiago Chavez, Antonio Duran, Victor Gordo Archibeque, Dennis Jaramillo, and Ronnie Chavez Jr.   Honorary Bearers will be Rudy Paul Trejo, Rudy Jaramillo, Bobby Gutierrez, Adrian Archibeque, Jimmy Gutierrez, Dean Gutierrez, and Sammy Wiggins.
