Mary Messer

Mary K. Messer, age 64, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 20, 2017.  She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Amy Messer-Garcia and husband Ray, Jr., Mike Messer, and Jonathan Saiz; her precious grandsons, Mario Lopez, Francisco Mason, Anthony Garcia and Dominic Garcia.  Also surviving is her mother, Lucille Saiz; her siblings, Archie Saiz, Judy Gallegos and husband G.O., Elizabeth Jacoby and husband Dean; her niece, Danelle Saiz; nephews, Mathew and Nathaniel Saiz, Gilbert and Greg Gallegos, Jason, Jesse, and Jeremy Jacoby; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.  Mary will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

A Rosary will be recited Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sara Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church.  Interment will take place at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery.  Urn Bearers will be Ray Garcia, Jr., Mario Lopez, and Francisco Mason.  Honorary Urn Bearers will be Jason Jacoby, Gilbert Gallegos, Tracy Mercer, Jeremy Jacoby and Nathaniel Saiz.

Inurnment will take place at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
