Maximiliano Carabajal

June 3, 1932 — February 20, 2021

Maximiliano Carabajal (88) beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather a resident of Cuba, New Mexico passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on February 20, 2021.

Max was preceded in death by his parents: Damian and Donelia Carabajal, siblings Rosendo, Gilbert, Felipe, Leonardo Carabajal and Clara Crespin. Great granddaughter Aaliyah Morfin and Great grandson Andres Valencia.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years Rosalita Carabajal, children: Bertha (Pres) Salaz, Isabel (Randy) Morfin, Dolores Carabajal, Maxine Jacquez and numerous nieces and nephews, 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 4:00 P.M.  at Daniels Funeral Home in Albuquerque, NM. Rosary and Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba, NM with burial to follow at the Cuba Catholic Cemetery

Serving as pallbearers: Brian Salaz, Phillip Jacquez, Jeremy Trujillo, Eric Salaz, Sergio Morfin, Joseph Jacquez. Honorary pallbearers: Jesse Jacquez and all grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Max will be greatly missed but the memories he made will last a lifetime.
