Melissa was born in Crownpoint, New Mexico on December 04, 1988, and went home on December 22, 2023, in Parker, Colorado. Melissa was born to the Mud people and born for the Sleeping Rock People. Her Maternal grandparents are the Red House People, and her Paternal grandparents are the Mexican People.
Melissa’s parents are Wallace Sylvester and Marian Woody. Her maternal grandparents are Harry Woody and the late Mary M. Woody. Her paternal grandparent is Emogene Wellito. She has one daughter, Analicia M.Sylvester. She has one brother, Myles Sylvester. She has three sisters, India E. Rodriguez, Julianna S. Morales, and Maria L. Morales. Her uncles are Harold Woody, Hardy Woody, Harvey Woody, and the late Gregory Woody. Her Aunts are Marcia Haines and Marlo A. Woody. She adored her puppy Fifi and cherished her many nephews and nieces.
Melissa Graduated from Cuba High School in May 2006. She attended Pima Community College for Nursing from 2008-2010. Her main occupation was with Comcast in Denver, Colorado. She lived in Colorado for most of her adult life. She enjoyed dancing, music, crocheting, cooking, and coloring. Her favorite food was Seafood and Steak. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and brother and her puppy Fifi. She was remarkably close to her grandmother Mary, who helped raise her. She enjoyed many activities with her, such as learning to cook and watching TV together with her grandma. She was highly creative, smart, and had a great spirit. She will be missed dearly by many, especially her straight forwardness attitude and ability to bring people together and spend the joy of her loud laughter. Rest in Peace Melissa.
