Nita Flores

Nita Flores, age 73, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, was embraced by the Lord on Friday, August 10, 2018, and taken to her heavenly home. She was born in Long Beach, CA and was a resident of Belen, NM.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred Gallegos and Dessie Pollack; and grandson, Anthony Cruz.  Nita is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Tony Flores; her children, Antoinette and husband Phillip Maya, Antonio Romero, Maxine Silva, and Yolanda Gutierrez; step-daughter, Angela Flores; grandchildren, Renee, Nicole, Yvette, TJ, Monique, Crystal, Anthony, Sarah, Christopher, Vicente, Dominic, Connie and Amanda; 22 great-grandchildren; and  many other relatives and friends.  Nita will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

A Rosary will be recited Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St. NW, in Albuquerque, where the Service of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.    Inurnment will take place at a later time.
