In loving memory of Oralia Ventura Hurtado Bonney, a cherished soul whose presence illuminated the lives of many. Oralia, of Pena Blanca, born on July 13, 1949, was called to her eternal rest on June 25, 2024, in Rio Rancho. She was a woman of remarkable achievements and unwavering faith.
Oralia graduated from Bernalillo High School in 1969. Oralia also graduated 3rd woman in the state of New Mexico from the police academy setting an inspiring for others to follow. Her journey was enriched by her dedication to her work at Motorola for 25 years. Her commitment and passion left a lasting impact on all those she worked with.
Oralia's vibrant personality was defined by her deep-rooted faith as a devoted Catholic. Aside from her professional achievements and spiritual devotion, Oralia found joy in baking and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren.
Oralia Ventura Hurtado Bonney leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come. In the embrace of eternity, she is rejoined with her parents Vicente and Alvina Hurtado, brothers Jerry Hurtado, Tony Hurtado, Arthur Hurtado, and sister Tita Leyba who have gone before her.
Oralia is survived by her loving husband William Bonney, sisters Alice Martinez and Theresa Sandoval, sons Rene Lobato and Joseph Lobato, daughter-in-law Ella Lobato, along with 8 grandchildren Vincent Lobato, Santos Armijo, Rene Lobato, Mariano Lobato, Iliana Sisneros, Christopher Lobato, Ariella Sisneros, Jon Paul Lobato; and 7 great-grandchildren who will carry forth the memories of her love and warmth.
In the moment of Oralia's passing at home surrounded by her loved ones, we find solace in knowing that she has found peace in the arms of eternity. While words may falter to capture the depth of our loss, let us remember her with fondness and gratitude for having been blessed with her presence in our lives.May Oralia Ventura Hurtado Bonney's soul rest in eternal peace as we celebrate the life of this remarkable woman whose memory will forever be engraved in our hearts.
